Fear not for I am with you,
Be not dismayed. For I am your God. I will strengthen you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
My dear friend was moving away and I wanted to give her something to encourage her. This is the verse she chose and the color flowers she wanted. I love this verse for how it points my friend to the only One Who can truly help her and comfort her in this time of transition.
This painting is on a 16x20 canvas and is painted with Acrylic paints and oils.
If you ever need a gift to encourage someone dear in your life, let's see if we can't design the perfect gift!
A sweet friend is having a baby boy and one of my favorite things to do for close friends is to paint them something for their nursery. She gave me five images to work from and I gave her one painting as a gift and she commissioned me to do the other four paintings.
These paintings are each 8" x 8" and painted in oils on canvas.
This is the painting I chose to give my friend for her gift. I really enjoyed the way all the colors came out in this one.
This painting proved to be a bit challenging at first because there was so much going on and I had to simplify it and still show depth.

Tree painting was fun to do and I enjoyed all the movement in the tree trunks.
This blue painting is my favorite one I think. It was in some ways the hardest to do and get all the different tones of blue. My favorite part in this painting are all the little birds.

My friend is having a baby girl and when I asked her if I could paint her something for their family. She decided on Isaiah 52:7 and the beginning part of the verse for the painting.

I'm really happy with how it turned out. I ended up painting over the words once before getting to what it looks like now. I'm glad I did, it looks much better than my first try!
This was my first painting since I had surgery on my right hand and elbow and it was harder than I thought it would be to grip my brush for long period of time. I hope with more painting and practice my arm will get stronger. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to paint this for such a sweet family.
Painting at the shower. This shower was the most fun baby shower I have ever attended. So blessed by all the wonderful ladies that came.
